You Can't Change Anyone

Here's the hard reality: You can't change anyone. As much as you want to, as much as you try to. You don't have the ability to change someone. Until the pain gets high enough - they aren't going to change.

Now, this doesn't mean we don't care for them. This doesn't mean we don't try to help them. This doesn't mean we stop praying for them or loving them. But understand that there is only so much that you can do - because until THEY are ready to change, nothing you do will make them change.

Create healthy boundaries. Don't "give a drunk a drink". They have to want it more than you do.
