Leader or Manager

When it comes to your organization, would you consider yourself a leader or a manager?

While the two roles often overlap, they aren't the same.

Consider these questions:

  • Do you dictate or empower?

  • Do you demand compliance or inspire commitment to the vision?

  • Do you simply make decisions, or do you help others make better decisions?

Your answers can reveal a lot about the way you lead.

Managers tend to focus on processes, execution, and maintaining order. Leaders focus on people, vision, and growth. Both are necessary, but understanding the difference can have a significant impact on your organization's culture and future.

Over the years, I've learned that the most effective leaders don't just direct people—they develop them. They don't just manage tasks—they create ownership. And they don't just make decisions—they equip others to think, grow, and lead alongside them.

Here's what I've learned. 👇🏼
