Be The Idiot

Be the idiot. Sounds encouraging, right?

Be the person in the room to ask the question that everyone really wants to ask...but no one has the guts to say anything for fear of being made fun of, looking stupid, or having your "seat at the table" called into question. We've all found ourselves (or will find ourselves) in a meeting - church, business, community - where a question needs to be asked but too many people are afraid.

In that process, everyone gets to learn. At the end of the day, it is information you need to have, and I guarantee there are other people around that table who were wondering the same thing.

So, be the idiot. Ask the question...and be better because of it.
