Self Help Guides

Dr. Nels believes everyone is entitled to Wellness through healthy living.

Over the years many of my clients have asked me, What can I do to help myself get better faster?

The tips and exercises that follow come from 30 years of experience in helping people get well and stay well. I recommend that you pick one that appeals to you, and work on making it a regular part of your life. Then incorporate another one.

I was at a Kiwanis function a few years ago when a woman wondered what I could do to help her shoulder. She didn’t live anywhere near me, so telling her to come in and get her system balanced wasn’t an option. I quizzed her about when it started to bother her, and she said that it happened when she and her boyfriend split up and she moved out. Does it sound like there might have been some emotional stress associated with the lifting and carrying of boxes? I told her to go to my web site, www.drnels.com, and find the forgiveness page and do the exercise she would find there. She called me a few days later and told me that she had taken my advice, done the forgiveness work and now her shoulder was better.

That is why I have a self-help page.
